Dr. Aroone Vang

Education
Dr. Aroone Vang grew up in St. Paul, MN. She attended St. Paul Central High School and completed a study abroad program in Nîmes, France during her senior year. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing at the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota. In college, Dr. Vang also studied Literature and Theatre at King’s College at University of London, England. At the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, she completed her Certificate of Graduate Studies in Biomedical Sciences, graduating in the top 5% of the class.

In 2012, Dr. Vang received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota, School of Dentistry. She was honored with the Walter S. Warpeha Award for Excellence in Prosthodontics and recognized for her work as a dental school ambassador, promoting the values of dentistry.


Teaching
After graduation, Dr. Vang taught as an adjunct professor for the Dental Implants and Extensively Damaged Tooth Restoration course at the University of Minnesota, School of Dentistry. She also taught the clinical externship for stainless steel crowns for the State of Minnesota Restorative Functions licensure to dental hygiene students from Minnesota State University, Mankato. 


Passion
Dr. Vang volunteers in her community and continues to provide dental care to the underserved in her hometown of St. Paul, maintaining her commitment to helping one and all. She believes strongly in continuing education, pursuing advanced training in pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics and oral surgery.

Personal Life
In her free time, Dr. Vang enjoys spending time with her husband, Cheng-kou, and their three children, Indira, Tsufeng, and Senmanie. An avid reader and traveler, she can often be found between the pages of a good travel guide, planning her next journey.
